I had the pleasure of working with Bikram, Bimal, and their team in Spring 2017 for a trip to Langtang and a small village in Rasuwa called Gre.
Since 1992, I've made 25+ trips to Nepal and worked with many, many outfitters, and can easily say Apex is in the top tier. Their focus is on what is important: safety and fun, as well as cultural engagement which should be a focus of all journeys to Nepal.
On this particular trip, my wife and I came with our 2 children, ages 7 and 9, to trek up the Langtang and then visit Gre, a village I've been connected to since 1992. Our Langtang team consisted of Arjun, Santosh, Nima, and Tsering, and all 4 were exceptional, ensuring day in and day out that every detail was attended to and helping us keep the kids going strong. Bikram joined us for the trip to Gre, and was likewise focused on all the fight things, with an amazing attention to detail.
Another key point about Apex, which sets them aside from many others, is their team's dedication to Nepal, not just to business. As any of you reading this and contemplating a trip to Nepal know (or should), Nepal is an amazing country with fabulous people, but is also a place where there are deep inequalities and often these are exploited and people who are from lower strata are not treated well, and abuses are common in the trekking industry. But, Apex is focused on fairness, and treats not only their staff, but also all others, with compassion and fairness.
I'd highly recommend Bikram and Apex to anyone contemplating a trip to Nepal - they've got my vote!
