Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the best trekking trails in the whole world. But  Annapurna Base Camp Trek will be more interesting in spring as the whole forest along the trail turns red, pink and white with rhododendron flowers which gives you the feeling of walking in a carpet of flower.  Just Wow !!!!

Annapurna Base Camp (4130m/13550feet.) trek is a moderate nature trek that starts at Nayapul, a short drive of 2 hours from Pokhara. The trail takes you through forests and fascinating traditional villages of the Nepal’s indigenous communities of Gurung and Magar who will greet you very warmly(if you cared to stop for a conversation). The views from the first rays of the sun at the break of dawn magic of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayans from Ghorepani (Poon Hill,3210m.), that is absolutely magnificent. The hike continues through jaw-dropping blossoming dense rhododendron forest and Bamboo with unparalleled snowy peaks scenery in the background to Tadapani. After reaching to Chhomrong Gurung village, we follow the breathtaking Modi Khola gorge and passes through stands of rhododendron and bamboo. By the time you reach the large rock over hanging, known as Hinku Cave, you will have noticed that the vegetation has thinned and the gorge narrowed to be only a few hundred meters wide. Steep snow-clad ridges falling from Hiunchuli on the left and Machhapuchhre on the right from the sanctuary. We get to Annapurna base camp hardly. 

The Ghorepani (Poonhill 3210m), Ghandruk village, Annapurna Base Camp (4130m.) view point and Jhinu (Natural hot spring) are major attraction point of this trek. The Annapurna Region is surrounded by many Himalayan ranges which include the Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri and famous virgin Fishtail(Machhapuchhre) mountain. The Annapurna base camp trek will be more interesting in spring as the whole forest along the trail turns red, pink and white with rhododendron flowers. The imaging trip can be done anytime of the year. 

This is a classic trek which allows access to the high mountains of the Himalaya within a reasonable time-frame and with a maximum altitude of 4000m. Accommodation and food is provided in the local lodges.

 

Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu

Day 02:Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

Day 04:Nayapul to Ghandruk(1940m), 6 hours ( Drive to Nayapul in night bus).

Day 05: Ghandruk  to Chhomrong (2170 m), 7 hours.

Day 06:  Chhomrong to Himalaya (2920 m), 7 hours.

 Day07:Himalaya to Machhapurchre Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m), 6 hours.

Day 08 : ABC to Sinuwa (2,360 m), 7 hours.

 Day 09: Sinuwa to Jhinu to Syauli Bazar (1,640 m), 6 hours (Enjoy camp firing) or drive to Pokhara from Kimchi.

Day 10:Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

Day 11: Departure 

 

 

Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu

After your arrival in Kathmandu our representatives at the airport will transfer you to your hotel and help you in checking in.Overnight at hotel.

Day 02:Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley

You will meet your tour guide,with our professional tour guide we visit Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa, Swyambhunath and Patan Durbar Square. Rest of the time you can use for travelling around Thamel and shopping of needed equipment and other necessaries.

Day 03:Drive From Kathmandu to Pokhara

After having breakfast early in the morning with a six hours of driving to Pokhara. Transfer your hotel.  Afternoon if time permits then we will do boating in Phewa lake and visit Barahi temple situated in Center of Phewa Lake, also side trip around lakeside. Over night at Pokhara.

Day 04: Trek starts Nayapul to Ghandruk, 5 hrs    

After our breakfast, we take an early morning drive to Nayapul which take about an hour. Our first day of Annapurna base camp trek is a bit easier hike through the bank of Modi Khola river, and the beautiful sight of lowland rice fields. Over night at tea-house.

Day 05: Ghandruk to Sinuwa,6 to 7 hrs

Leaving Ghandruk, we begin our journey with steep climb to Sinuwa ascending a steep stone staircase , a difficult part for most of the trekkers. During our 6 to 7 hrs hike we will experience the majestic views, rhododendron forest, beautiful villages, flora and fauna and many more. Overnight at tea-house.

Day 06: Sinuwa to Deurali ,7hrs

Following a mild descent, we then again move uphill as we climb until Durali which is some 3200 meters from the sea level. It takes around five hours to reach Durali from Sinuwa where a guesthouse awaits us to take the rest for the day with some sumptuous meal on offer.

Day 07: Deurali  to Annapurna Base Camp(4130m),5 hrs

After breakfast we climb some 1000 meters as we make our way towards the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). ABC trek is also known as the Annapurna Sanctuary as it is also the protected area of the Nepal government. Reaching ABC will be the culmination of the ABC trek as you will enjoy the pristine views of the mountains and the adjoining locality. Some people might as well face the problem of high-altitude sickness, but that should not be much of problem for regular climbers. Overnight stay at a local guesthouse.

Day 08: Annapurna Base Camp to Sinuwa , 8 hrs

After morning breakfast  the trail descends a long, stone staircase through bamboo and rhododendrons forests to Kuldi and leading to Sinuwa. Overnight at Sinuwa.

Day 09: Sinuwa  to Jhinu to Nayapul  8 hrs trek- Drive  to Pokhara , 1:30 hrs

We will trek from Sinuwa  to Jhinu . The major attraction is the hot spring (Tatopani) where the tourists can take a dip at the hot water spring. It is widely believed that a dip at the hot water spring cures skin ailments and other diseases. From Jhinu, after enjoying the life time remembering experience of hot natural spring water bath, we will motivate ourselves further to Nayapul. The reach of Nayapul will be fine for our lunch time. After reaching  Nayapul we will take the short drive to Pokhara. The night will be at Pokhara.

Day 10:Drive From Pokhara to Kathmandu

It takes about seven hours, while driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, you head up to Damauli,, Dumre, Muglin and Kurintar where the Nepal's first Cable car is operated to reach to Manakamana Temple. En route, you could enjoy the mountain views, green sceneries, rice terrace fields, vegetable fields and people being engaged in their daily life activities. From Naubishe you climb up to Thankot, the gateway to capital city. You can also fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu which takes about 25 minutes. Overnight at  Hotel.

Day 11: Departure 

Farewell and transfer to airport for flight back to destination country.
